Lighting

Lighting will totally change your garden design but mostly not until night, so when you're planning you have to use your imagination.

You can play it safe and simply illuminate from overhead. One, two or many more but the preparation will be similar so be adventurous whenever possible.

It isn't simply a matter of providing a feature to just one area but with a little imagination you can illuminate from above, below and any number of places in between. Most will be 'switched on' from one central point although censors can bring the garden alive at night, as you choose.

Low voltage is going to be the first choice and checked out by a qualified electrician whenever advised.

Garden centres are going to be carrying all types of outdoor units for safe outdoor use but electricians could well produce something quite spectacular even with YOUR OWN designs.

I think the days of just one big super halogen are fading away and being taken over by the more adventurous styles of garden lighting.
