Bark

The use of bark does more than provide garden cover. It’s equally attractive, ornamental and particularly succesful as a suppressant when used with geotextiles preventing weed growth.

Play areas are kept safe from injuries due to tumbles and falls when used to good effect around swings and slides.

Sheds and playhouses are complimented by its use and creates an attractive surrounding to keep well-used ground dry, compact and usable for children to enjoy, especially where small ladders are attached to play areas for climbing on...or falling off as kids do.

There are different grades and you should decide where they will be used, as what might suit ground cover would not be suitable for play area bark.

Consult your local supplier or landscape contractor for advice on grades and uses in your garden design.
